We're going to smash them because we're not replacing the majority of our starters (despite what the media says) and it's not a bowl game.

You see, if they try to play the Sooners "later this month" they may be able to win by catching the Sooners looking ahead to their September 5th opener in Dallas.

I just hope the team is not overlooking BYU in anticipation of the Idaho State showdown.

I want them to be as good as they can be because we need the practice for our offensive line.

I guess I sound like Darrell Royal with UT playing ULM (Univ. of La. a Monroe)
these guys are very tough and we will be lucky to beat them. BYU has quality players and is favorite to win the Mountain West. I want BYU to seem like a top 10 team--then I want to beat them by 30 points.

Just 30? Come on, think big.

Money for the school is always the deciding factor

Money for the school is always the deciding factor

Always is such a strong word and should be used sparingly. Besides, I was referring to the outcome just as the thread suggests that they believe they can win. Not why they are playing. They play the game to win, not for money.
