Hey...that Zelda carp has helped me pass the time during this deployment...cause they're the only games I brought with my gamecube.

Gamecube, eh? I suppose that's a good choice, because you won't cry too much if it gets blow'd up... Gamestop sells replacements for $30. :D

In fact, you should totally bomb your Gamecube and post the video here. I think that would be fun to do AND to watch.

Besides, what other system will allow you to play Twilight Princess and then swap over to Ocarina of Time?

The Wii - via the virtual console or via the gamecube disc. Remember that it places both Wii and Gamecube discs and also has a lot of that library available for download now... for insanely high prices considering how long those games have been out, heh :D

That's not to mention the fact that the SOBs have been sitting on a huge library of games for NES, SNES, N64, Sega Master System, Sega Genesis, Turbo-Grafx 16, Neo Geo, Commodore 64, and arcade since the Wii came out and have only released one or two games a week, leaving tons of great games still unavailable.

I've never understood their strategy here. It's not like we don't remember those great games until they release them for VC. Just dump them all out there so we can get the ones we want.

If they release sh!t-tier games first, more people are likely to buy them.

Release 1000s of games at once and people ignore the crap.

Why else would DK Jr. get released before Mario 3?

Who cares? Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess are teh shizz and I'm content with just playing the series.
