I think he's going to get alot of run this year. From the practices he looks very good; maybe good enough to have a 3 man rotation like when Allen Patrick was here with Murray and Brown. I have a feeling there will be many
4th quarter carries too.

Yep, he will def. get some 4th quarter carries, but I would be surprised if he got any a shootout.

Calhoun will be playing second half of Spud State game. I would say he'll get time in the blowout over BYU, but Murray and Brown need those carries to get back to the feel of the game.

what sucks is, we won't pass if we are killing them, so it will be like the "Madu runs all over again"

the ones where they know we are running so they just crowd the line, and we get like a yard or two.

this kinda relates to the other thread on here, about letting OUr backup QB's actually run the offense.

We at least should give OUr backup QB one true drive a game, same as the first team O

If we have no injuries @ RB, I feel Calhoun will get plenty of 4th quarter carries. Now, if there IS an injury, the carries will be shared with the healthy back and Madu. Just my thought. Now, my opinion is Calhoun should be the # 3 man and keep Madu at slot. Not that I will be upset or cry is Madu gets carries at RB.

Seriously, I hope DM is rolling from game 1. We really missed him being at a high level last year againt UTerus (and FL of course). It would be cool if he ripped off about 300 total yards against UTerus and Ryan Reynolds was our leading tackler in that game.

Musil's a backup FB. Murray and Brown are being held out, and Miller was held out of the scrimmage for some minor muscle thing I think. That means 1st team was Calhoun, and 2nd was Musil. :D

Clapp will get PLENTY of time at short yardage TB, and PLENTY of passes in the flats... He will have a great year.
