Why do I have to manually update a distribution list if I change the e-mail address for a contact in that distribution list? Why doesn't the stupid distribution list maintain a reference to the contact so that any changes are automatically reflected in the list?
And say I want the e-mail address of somebody in the Global Address List. I don't want to send an e-mail to that person, I want their actual e-mail address in text form to copy to a file or whatever. Well good ****ing luck with that. It's impossible. If you right click on their name you can get to their e-mail address, but there's no way to actually copy the text of the e-mail address.
Grrr.

Double-click, email addresses tab or right-click, properties, email addresses tab.

And how exactly do I copy the text of the e-mail address into the clipboard so I can paste it somewhere else?
Click the add to contacts button and copy and paste it from that window, then close without saving.

Or right-click, pull up their e-mail addy, grab a pencil, write down their e-mail address, and then type it in.

How many exchange servers are you talking about? if there are many it takes time to replicate throughout the domain.

This is why you should just write a letter, put it in an envelope, put a stamp on it, and mail it. Anybody can figure that out.

Then why didn't you write that in a letter and mail it to all of us, Mr Postal Service?

I think you'd better go check the front door. There's a bag on the porch that is on fire and you need to stomp it out.

Did it have a bar code?
I ran over it with my scooter.

No bar code, but there's some corn, peanuts, and what looks like a green bean in it.
