Are NBA contracts gauranteed like baseball contracts? Either way, he will make a little cash for a year or two atleast

He is a 2nd rounder, I dont think they would have signed him if they didnt think he was gonna make the team cus 2nd rd picks dont have to be signed

And, for the record, if you're drafted in the first round, then you sign a three-year, fixed-rate, guaranteed, "rookie" contract. Some teams put extensions into them, etc... but it is what it is. If you're drafted in the second round, then 1) you're not guaranteed a contract, 2) I think, but I'm not positive, that your salary is still slotted (ie - league minimum) based on draft position, and 3) your contract length isn't fixed at all.

That is really awesome news. I didn't really expect him to make it. So Capel has 2 guys in the NBA. How many did Sampson have during his OU tenure?

Or does T Griffin count for Sampson?

I read in a Pheonix paper online that he would probably be paid around $450k and likely will take up a free spot on the NBDL roster without chance of Pheonix losing him to another team
