I think it's safe to say that Carter is a starter come Sep 5th, but who will play the other safety position. I would say that it would probably be between Ibiloye and Carter w/Carter having the edge right now. However, there is Emmanuel Jones who is in the 2-deep as of July 16th. I know we'll know when we know, but at this point speculation would suffice.

No competition right now at FS. That doesn't mean it's a weak 3 deep, just means QC has FS locked down. Proctor is a bit lighter than Nic and Lendy were, so hopefully that translates to better speed. Right now, for sure QC at FS and Proctor "leads" for SS.

Was it QC who knocked the snot out of Chase Daniel last season? There was some game where he just unleashed on someone and made me fear for their life.

Carter was getting kicked out of practices in the Spring for hitting people too hard from what I heard.

that was one practice back in 2007. He hit someone without pads on and got sent home according to the article I read on him.

I heard it happened this Spring but whatevs...the guy can lay the wood. He also knocked out Maclin's mouthpiece in the Big 12 title game.

I have only see 2 DBs hit harder than Carter,those being Herry Anderson,Roy Williams.I seem to recall that Anderson actually knocked out 2-3 opposing players in his career.Only question I have on Carter is his coverage skils.
