Went and saw it yesterday. Good flick, it had an interesting and well thought out story. The movie revolved around the story not how much CGI they could fit into it.

I saw it yesterday. It is a very unusual movie, but I enjoyed it.

If you don't mind your son hearing the f bomb a lot and seeing some gruesome scenes. There were kids much younger at the one I went to.

2.5 out of 5 stars, I was disappointed, IMO it's a rental.

It's the most people I've seen walk out of a theater in a long time. (6-7)

i thought it was pretty good. kind of turns into a conventional "action" flick to it's detriment.

Fans of the IMDB have it in their Top 250 all time.

I'm thinking you got a theater full of people that don't like social commentary with their sci-fi...

I thought this was a real throwback to the old style of sci-fi, like the original Planet of the Apes, that sort of thing. And it was one of the best sci-fi movies I've seen in years. Driven by story, not effects.

Looked totally realistic, and it was from a director that had never done a full-length movie before (mostly commercials and music videos) and a leading man who had never been in a full-length movie either. Freakin' great performance from him.

This director is the guy Peter Jackson wanted to direct the Halo movie...

I wanna go see it. Good people worked on it, so I'm guessing it won't be teh succ like GI Joe.

I enjoyed the movie alot, but I almost had to walk out because the documentary style filming kind of made me carsick. Very much like cloverfield.

Hell yes, the first real Sci-fi in years. Sci-fi does not equal technology and explosions, people! Read a book!

this. i know a few people who thought from the trailers it was more a sci-fi/horror and effects thing and less the sci-fi/social (dark) satire....and felt cheated.

It could easily be confused with that.

It just seemed kinda obvious to me that it was gonna have heavy sociological themes, but I'm probably a bit more versed in that type of story thanks to growing up reading the likes of Phillip K. Dick and others.
