Did anyone else see this (http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/news?slug=ap-oklahoma-playereligibility&prov=ap&type=lgns)?

NORMAN, Okla. (AP)—The NCAA has decertified the eligibility of Oklahoma linebacker Mike Balogun, who joined the Sooners last season after playing semipro football.

Balogun, 25, can practice through Wednesday. Coach Bob Stoops says he may not be eligible to play after that.

The NCAA is reviewing whether Balogun participated in any games with the North American Football League after the age of 21. According to the school, such participation could result in lost eligibility.

The school says the NCAA was aware of Balogun’s participation in the league before the 2008 season and certified him. When more information surfaced, the school reviewed the matter and forwarded it to the NCAA.

No biggie. Sucks for Balogun was the general consensus. That and the NCAA is more to blame for telling him he had two years in the first place.
