because Miami has to play OU after a pretty rugged start to the season:

"Miami’s first four games, again: at Florida State, GT at home, at Virginia Tech, and then Oklahoma at home. OU was a bad matchup anyway, but after those three games to open it moves into the “potential smiting” category, and through very little fault of Miami’s. They have to endure the grappling match Virginia Tech will put on them, and will probably still have the bruises and lactic acid buildup from that game in their system when they take the field against the Sooners, who will then turn Bradford and the flamethrowers on them. Ghastly, but impressive in its Viking bravery. Cheers, and here’s a life insurance policy."

I remember, during Blake's reign of error, nothing maddened me as much than sportswriters and opposing fans feeling "sorry" for us.

Too bad 'canes. I'll feel good after "Bradford and the flamethrowers" finish with U.

I work with a thUg fan, longtime friend, who actually believes that they will beat us down there in Miami. He might be the only one. I don't even think that Randy Shannon believes that they will beat us. That game could get real ugly, real fast. With BYU, Miami, UTerus, Tech, and OSU on the schedule, there's a chance for some massive bloodletting this year.

Going back to Jimmy Johnson at Miami, I have hated the 'Canes and have no mercy for them.

One could say that thUg was the reason for the celebration and taunting rules being implemented. Their players from the 80s and 90s just seemed to have no regard for the game or how it was played.
