i was never a really big fan of him anyways, or the Sports Animal for that matter. Sure it was good for OU Sports Talk but that was about it. I can still sometimes pick it up on the AM dial down in DFW, and I really can't listen to it for more than a few minutes. The Ticket in Dallas is way better to listen to IMO.

Agreed on the popular part. But it may not be in the hands of Citadel if things don't get better. Again this is speculation and I honestly hope things work out for them. I worked in that building for about five years and consider many of that staff as friends.

Traber = Ex OSU athlete with a bit of an ego... does it really surprise you that most OU fans bitch about him? It's like all the aggy people who hate on anything Sooner-related. It's mostly blown out of proportion based on biased fans not liking every word they hear.

Plank and Pop aren't too bad, but I do change the station when they get on their golf/steroids in baseball/MMA talk. I don't want to fall asleep at the wheel. I change the animal for the same reasons... they're pretty much boring until football season. Even then, I'm not a Giants fan (respectfully pass on New York Jerkens), I'm not a Kansas fan (Kansas Jayhawks and KC Royals on an Oklahoma station... go figure!), I don't follow high school football religiously and I don't like commercials. So basically there's a good five or ten minutes of Al and Jim on my drive home.
