I would think this year the award is Colt's to lose. Each 3 with the same stats as last year, and Colt wins for sure.

I'm thinking the same thing Colt. A few days back Jason White was on the Sports Animal and he mentioned overhearing Heisman members talking about not voting for him for the 2004 award since he had already won in 2003. If there are enough of those voters out there, then that would hurt Sam and TeMesiah's chances.

these heisman voters are self righteous idiots just like the baseball HOF voters who wont vote for the alleged or proven drug users

Colt won't be in New York...

Yeah, I think if Sam and the Sooners with the RRS, then the Heisman may be his to lose. Tebow's being overhyped by the media and I think that will have a backfire effect. + I think SEC teams will go all out to stop the run and his passing will be good but his stats won't be good enough in the end. IMO

If we go 13-0 to start the season... (The Heisman is after the Conference Championship games) and the gators have a loss

it should go to Sam, unanimously

Colt's to lose?

Ummm... have you WATCHED ESPN lately?

Tebow needs poor stats and a minimum of two losses before anyone else gets a vote.

Collier11

well the consensus is that none of the voters want anyone else to win 2 heismans, thats why many think it is Colts to lose

I'd rather tebow win it, and have us play them

seems its usually a curse , usually

"Some people can't see past the rivalry," Bradford said. "Me and Colt, being friends actually benefits both of us because we can both pick each other's brain. Obviously, people are gonna question it because he plays for Texas and I play for Oklahoma. 'Oh, what's going to happen when you play each other? You guys aren't going to be friends?' Just because we play each other doesn't mean we're going to play any less hard on Saturday."

Does that mean Colt doesn't reply to Chase's texts anymore?

I am sure espn wants Colt and the Tebow. Has anyone ever seen less talk about a returning winner?

Sam's getting plenty of press and he will probably get the most press of the 3 pre-conference because of the BYU and Miami games. I can't get to bent out of shape because of the heisman tradition of not wanting repeaters. Sam won last year with all the tradition in place, so can't whine now if it works the other way.

I will gladly sacrifice Sams Heisman chances for a win in the MNC... I'm sure Sam would do the same.

Will Sam get two Bronze Statues after this year?

ab-sore-lutly Sam came back to win the MNC not the Heisman trophy.
