Probably. BG is an amazing player but he is getting the Tebow treatment.

He plays for the Clips. Let him enjoy this before he starts dropping 20 and 10 in relative obscurity for four years.

20 is awfully, "generous," don't you think? I could see 10 boards per game, but 20 points per, as a rookie, with that lineup, is going to be a stretch, even for Blake.

I don't see the problem. :)

Nor do I... except that the Clip fans will get to enjoy at least four years of Blake whereas we only got two

Maybe, though I don't think it's a stretch that he'll be close to that number by the end of his four years.

I think his rookie season in LA will look a lot like his freshman season at OU

There was tougher Defense in the Big 12 than in the West Coast NBA- he can easily get 20.

"Easily?" Heh. I'm in on that. Money. Mouth. Let's bet it.

First, let's define "easily." I'd call it, for a frontcourt player, their points per game, minus 1.5 pts per offensive rebound, rounding down. Offensive rebound / Put-backs, while a huge part of the game, are also a lot of work, and not exactly an "easy" way to rely on points. (This won't exactly kill a scoring average, either, seeing as the NBA leader in offensive boards last season, Dwight Howard, averaged only four per game. But, to make it more fair, we could say that we subtract only one point for every offensive board; or none... it won't matter. I still don't see Blake averaging 20 this season. Not on that team, with those players around him.

I'll go a step further, though. If Blake does average even close to 20, let's say 18+, then he'll also be among the league leaders in offensive rebounds per game, likely Top 10. (The Top 10 generally averages between 2.5-3.5 orebs/game, so if Blake was in the middle of that range, he's probably scoring an extra 3-5 points per game off of those boards, bumping his average from what I expect it to be, 14 ppg, roughly, to close to 20ish...)

I don't think he averages 20 either, I'm gonna say 17.6

...and I'll say he averages 11.6 boards.

LEAVE US CLIPPERS FANS ALONE!!!!!!

Wow... I think you guys would be welcoming any attention you could get that didn't revolve around recent mediocrity. :D

I don't see anything wrong with falling in love with BG and having other fans notice. It's much better than losing constantly with a cheapskate owner and having everyone notice.
