Just bought an awesome "bean bag toss" game for $20. Will be heavily used for tailgating! Now, I just need to paint it crimson and cream and add the OU logo.

I bought one of the new action figures at ToysRUs (college-NFL series) which is Adrian Peterson all decked out in the Sooner Uniform. My wife thinks I am twisted, I put it on the mantle as the centerpiece to my house. The detail is amazing. No big rush up here for the Peterson, they all want the Tom Brady in Michigan garb....

Wife bought me a kick azz pair of shorts but gotta find a seamstress to have the zipper replaced caz it broke.

I have my old vintage ou T from last year... Comfort is everything. It allows me to reach to the cooler next to the couch for a beer, but loose enough for me to throw that empty beer bottle at the wall when something crappy happens. Again, comfort is everything!

I'm considering buying a pair of red "stadium pants" khakis. Already have the tan w/ red ou's. I'm beating the sec at its own game, and in turn risking my own dignity in the process. Gotta support the team.

How about some "Cecil" Sansabelts?

Only problem with that would be the inability to wear a belt with the largest and most obnoxious OU belt buckle I can find. But, I do have the Cecil Samara bright red blazer. Unfortunately, it was of no help in Dallas or Miami last year. It's 1-2, with it's lone win being the TCU game last year.

I always get new threads before the first game. And, per a previous thread from last year...white (cream) is nice for around town, but when in the MemSta, Crimson is the rule.

Probably just me but, I just don't "get" OU duds in black. Seems aggy to me.

With you Lott I have a black OU tee that was given to me but I would never buy one myself, it does seem a bit aggy to me also.

Found t-shirts on sale thru soonersports.com - got red & white so have both home & away games covered.

I usually wait & buy polos, etc from the stadium bookstore at the first home game.

They wear them so they're easier to pick out among the others on the sideline for signals and substitutions, not because they think they look cool.

Well wear whatever you like; I choose not to wear black OU gear on the occasion that I am wearing something Sooner-related because it's not one of our school colors, and I just don't think it looks good with crimson, which is too dark to go with black. Nebraska's clown red, sure. Not ours.

I'll tell you what I got for this season - season tickets for the first time! I'm kinda diggin' on that right now, perfectly willing to wear my old gear to the games. I'm hoping that this is THE year to have season tix. ;) But I'd be happy either way.

Driving down every weekend from KC will be a *****, but I'll suffer through it just fine.

The wife just got home (Houston) from Tulsa yesterday.
I now have the new Coaches Polo in white.
Also, have a new red and a new white T (to go with my 25 other OU T's and Polo's).
I just have to get my 2009 cap and I am good to go.

It's not only fair, it's advisable. I'm convinced my now retired(from gameday) OU hat was responsible for the last few bcs bowl game outcomes.

Dude, I absolutely, positively, 100% will not call you crazy for that. I'm a firm believer in mojo & luck -- I mean, just look at 2000. I love that team. They won it all and brought home the crystal football. But they sure as heck wouldn't have done so without a *ginormous* dose of good luck.

So, heck yeah -- change the shirt! Just don't change it in front of any of these horndogs here on Soonerfans... They don't need any encouragement ;)
