I just watched the BYU/Washington game played at Seattle, 28 - 27 BYU.

I don't think we are going to have a problem with BYU.

I think the score will be somewhere around

OU 49
BYU 21

I would LOVE a shutout...

But I'm sure they will score a meaningless TD in the 4th.

John Nimmo takes the first series after Dom Franks, Brian Jackson, Travis Lewis and GK McCoy all haul in two pick-6s a piece. Did I mention we take the opening KO all the way back for 6? So Ryan Broyles gets to touch the ball.

45-17 Boomers. I look for our D to show us something.

54-20

and here is my work, they will suprise us early while we are working out the off season rust and score a couple of quick easy touchdowns. but we will also score on the first 5-6 possessions making it about 42-14 at half. but maybe 21-14 in the first to middle of the second.

they might get another td or a couple of field goals towards the end after we have let off the pedal after the first 2-3 scoring drives of the second half and taking out bradford in the middle fo the third.

I expect this play out a lot like last year's TCU game. 31-17, something to that effect.

OU offense will be slightly less impressive than people are expecting, but all the "Big XII has no defense" folks will be unprepared for a very good performance by the Sooner D, especially that defensive line which is plain ferocity come to earth in human form.

FWIW, Miami's offense will also get obliterated by the Sooner D. The only teams on the schedule with good enough offenses to stand a chance are UT, OSU, and KU.

Oklahoma: 38
BYU: 10

49-7 OU, we pull our starters mid 3rd up 35-0. Improved OU defense nearly pitches a shutout, giving up a late 4th quarter score.

Early line is fluctuating between -21 and 22. I don't want to sound like the Fat Jack (yes he's down here as well) but we seldom cover in openers if I remember right.
