Aka "Let's watch Nic Harris and Larry Birdine."

They're doin' retro jerseys tonite... an older Buffalo for the Bills and the Oilers logo for the Titans.

It's on now on NBC.

If you get bored, remember that this is preseason and you're gonna see a lot of guys trying to make a roster, so every bad play can end with the phrase "you're cut!"

I hope you all just saw that

EDIT: Dude faked a punt and ran it in for a TD from about 40 yds out for the Titans/Oilers. I really hope Nic wasn't on special teams on that.

I'm loving both teams' uniforms.

Vince Young just got a tackle... after throwing an INT on his first pass :)

Oh, and Nic is out there now... well, not anymore.

Vince is already looking terrible.

Announcer is having trouble trying to explain why Vince made such a terrible pass.

Oh, and Birdine is now out there.

For those who are Sooner watching, Nic is No. 54 on Bills' defense (safety) and Birdine is No. 92 on Titans/Oilers defense.

Harris looked like he screened the WR who the VY interception was intended for. He was definitely in the area of the picked off ball.

Birdine looks like he's making every effort to be at the end of the play... even if the guy is already tackled.

VY tries to scramble like he's in college or something. Nic tackles him like he's in college or something :D

Punt forthcoming because of VY's suckitude. 24-0 Oilers/Titans with 8ish left in the 2nd.

VY is furthering his case for a starting spot somewhere in the NFL.

Birdine just batted down a pass on 2nd and goal. He just might have a chance at making the roster... he's really been putting forth a lot of effort tonight.

out drinking rules out, new drinking rule in - everytime a player VY hands the ball off to doesn't get many yards, or the player he tries to throw the ball to either drops it or lets it get intercepted, you no longer say "you're cut."

Rather, in your sappiest voice possible - "You made VY cry!"

Seriously, everytime this guy removes his helmet, he's pouting and on the verge of tears. Man, you wanted to be in the pros, you left college early. GROW UP ALREADY!

EDIT: as soon as i post this, vy td pass to left corner. whatev... dude's gonna be out soon anyways. there's only a few seconds left in the second quarter and they have a few more qb's to cycle through

Those Bills uniforms are so much better than the crap they wear now.

VY doesn't chest thump, he...

Well, you get the idea.

"It happens, man," Young said of his sluggish start. "I know everybody wants me to go out and be perfect, but it's not happening like that. You can't just jump into it."

They really gave that son of the ESPN guy no chance out there - one series, then back to the guy competing with VY for the backup job. Dang... but really, that INT doesn't look good for VY keeping the No. 2 spot... but it's only one game, I guess. So was the Rose Bowl, heh :D

Last night's game was the closest VY is ever going to get to the Hall of Fame.

Vincent Young quote.....LOL

"I don't know when I'll start again. But I will be the next black quarterback to win a Super Bowl. And I will be in the Hall of Fame."

:texan: VY has little or no chance to even start in the NFL as a quarterback. His best bet is to switch, as I suggested before he even entered the NFL draft, to wide reviever. If he can catch a ball, he might be able to make an impact there.

Had fun watching and commenting last night, y'all. Unfortunately, for those of you that missed, there will be no more preseason action until Thursday. Here's a breakdown for those of you out to Sooner watch some more:

Washington (#12 Malcolm Kelly, #29 Lendy Holmes)
vs.
Baltimore (#89 Mark Clayton, #97 Kelly Gregg, #65 Chris Chester)
@ 6:30 p.m.

New England
vs.
Philly
@ 6:30 p.m.

Arizona
vs.
Pittsburgh
@ 7 p.m.

Dallas (#37 Mike Hawkins, #87 Manny Johnson)
vs.
Oakland
@ 9 p.m.

All times are Oklahoma time. All games are Thursday. No word on television. The roster numbers and info is based of the team sites, so I guess it's always possible that rosters will change before then. Boomer!
