JLEW1818

interesting. They give us one loss to Nebbish...crazier things have happened, I suppose.

so according to this.... Texas would go to the Holiday Bowl?? ish? hahahaa

Loss @ Neb is surprising!! I hope not since I'm actually going to that game!

i might eat my hat if Texas loses to Missouri and OSU

i'll be really surprised if they lose either of those games, on the road or not

i think our game is 50/50 at best

We lose to the Huskers but the Hiskers lose to KU, MU and CU?????

No credibility in these predictions.

I see your point, but you know they like so many play up for us. We raise the level of evry team we play. Particularly rivals.

Might as well say something different to get people to read it, I suppose. Some of those predictions seem pretty unlikely to me, but whatevs.

Not saying that we can't lose to NU.
Just saying that if NU beats us, the chances of them losing to KU, MU and CU would seem extremely low.

Who knows - maybe they play the game of their lives and then have a let down. Does Nebraska have much of an offense? I have a hard time seeing them beat us - more worried about Texas or some fluke game like Kansas.

If sa*et loses three in a row, Mack will retire in midseason just to insure it doesn't become four. The orange faithful will weep tears of relief that Muschamp can come in and "salvage" what's left of 2009.

OU under Stoops has shown it can lay an egg any week they play on the road. I take no game lightly and worry about them all

I figure a Big 10 guy came up with this stuff... Missouri is going to roll the Big 12 but lose to Illinois, seems unlikely

Other than Texas I think @Nebraska scares me the most

JLEW1818
8/7/2009, 06:53 PM
ditto... Kansas does not scare me for some reason..

@ Kansas worries me some. We will have played @ Miami, an improved Baylor at home and Texas immediately before Kansas. It could easily be a game in which the Sooners feel like they have a bit of a breather. Hopefully that won't happen, but it looks like a place to stumble

As far as Nebraska, you have to remember that they are (in the long term) a rival of ours as well. That late in the season we should be firing on all cylinders and there is little doubt we will be up for them. That game is one I don't see us losing.

Way too much love to Mizzou, not enough for Baylor, and goofy predictions to get debates going like the one we currently have on here. That's what I took from the article. I believe last year they had us losing at Manhattan and Stillwater...so, yeah.

This was better than what that idiot Andre Ware said on College Football Live. I really don't think Neb. will beat us. I hope we go undefeated but Tx. will be the only team we will play that matches up with us equally athletic wise and OSUX will always play their best game of the year when we play. If Ware is right about BYU I think I will just put a bullet in my head.

I'm sure the horn fans fantasize about sooner fans wailing and gnashing of teeth should BYU pull the upset... but can you imagine the howling should mighty tex drop 3 in a row in mid-season, including the 2 OK schools...:D I'd almost be willing to endure another BCS loss <shudder> to enjoy such a meltdown...

These. I think CFN underrates Nebraska and severely overrates Mizzou for some strange reason.

I am a little concerned about our game at Kansas because it comes the week after we destroy Texas.......we might be flat

but please note I said "a little" concerned

CFN is a freaking joke......They have Tulsa ranked at 95 and Georgia at 5....

Obviously these guys are real good writing articles out of their ***.

Texas losing three games? Yea right.

This.

Texas is just as good as Oklahoma. No way will they lose back to back to back games.

Missouri? HA?

There is a SLIGHT chance that they drop a game to OSU and OU.. very slight.

I seriously think this is the year where little brother finally jumps up and bites Texas in the ***.

After reading what they think Missouri will do, I decided they didn't know much about Big 12 football!

I wouldn't have thought Texas to lose 3 games this year, but after seeing which ones they were that CFN picked, it almost makes sense. If we stomp their guts out, the next 2 are going to be road games against fairly good opponents. Trust me, Texas confidence is running high right now, but if its a beat down, it could take a while for them to get back up (takes off crimson colored glasses).

Whorns travel to Laramie and get stunned by the [WY] cowboys!!! Colt gets a stinger and goes out early 2nd quarter!!! You read it here first kids!!! I can hear it now come September, "Oh Shock, tell us more..." ;)

Us losing to nebbers, tejas losing to mizzou, along with 3 straight....i doubt it, but it'd be great :D

Texas ain't losing to OSU, Tech or Missouri. Sorry to hurt some people's feelers. The answer to winning the BIG 12 is simply outscoring (or opposition getting lucky and one of the two goes down) Sam Bradford or Colt McCoy.

the pumpkin bowl will be a good game... the horns beat Oklahoma State by 4 last year in Austin... not that it matters for this year... Mack is like 11-0 against them, i think... should be fun to watch.
