straight? I went over things in my mind, and could not come up with anyone else. I know Jason started @ least multiple seasons that were cut short by injury, but has anyone been as established as Bradford @ QB?

Jamelle started for four years straight, granted he didn't start the first couple of games his freshman year.

Jimmy Harris was the starter from '54 through '56. He never lost a game.

Steve Davis was the starter from '73 through '75. He only lost one game.

Cale Gundy was one of the starters in '90 and the only starter from '91 through '93. He lost many games.

Didn't Charles Thompson start quite a bit in '88? Jamelle was obviously never the same after he tore up his knee against O-State in '87.

yes. He was the starter against Mizzou, Nebbish and Miami '87, and then all the way through '88 until the Coca-Cola caught up to him.

Steve Collins started in front of Gundy in '90 until after the Texas game. I think.

Don't count Sam's chickens quite yet. He's only started most of two seasons and I don't want ANYthing to jinx our studly Sammie.

I remember Charles breaking his leg on one of the last plays of the game against Nebraska in '88. That was some of the worst weather I've ever sat through in Norman. Nasty sleet all day long. They beat us 7-3.

Jamelle playing in the Citrus Bowl against Clemson was sad.

When did the big player revolt over the Collins/Gundy situation occur? Was that in '90? That '90 team was really good. Went 9-3 and lost to Texas by one, Iowa State by two (QB draw) and Colorado by nine. Beat Nebraska by 35. There are still pieces of Mickey Joseph's leg laying around over on the east sideline.

I take that back. I remember Jamelle started against UNC and at USC in '88.

Wow, I remeber that game, really horrible weather.

Are we talking quarterbacks, or any position?

What about Spencer Tillman?

There are a slew of guys who started from '84 through '87 if we're talking all positions. I figured it was just limited to quarterback.

It was the "@ QB" part that gave it away, huh?

Jack?

Freshmen were ineligible prior to 1972. Jack started in 69, 70, 71.

Yep, the field was shiny all game long in the (temporary) lights. I had to change a flat that night in the sleet on the way back to the apartment (the ones south of the golf course). We watched football for awhile then headed to Interurban. When we came out there was a bunch of snow everywhere, it was just kind of fitting.
