Sooooo, I took the stadium tour today. I really just wanted to get an up-close look at the new place, and WOW, was I bowled over! Pretty incredible place. Not too shabby for a $250k/mo electric bill.

Waiting in Line. 50 people every tour (at $16.50), leaving every 15 min = 200/hr. Multiply that times 8 hours= $26,400 for tours every dang day. We were standing in a line with about 120 people waiting for tours. Jerry wont be hurting for long.

View from media suite.

This is the media suite. Every desk space has 4 plugs and 2 internet ports.

Just your average corner suite. Its only $45k per game for this one. That does include food and bevies.

Mega board. As told several times, the Cowboys star wasnt going to be viewable from above because of the HUGE mega-tron, so Jerry thought it best to include a star on top of the board....you know, for passers by. Goodyear blimp appreciates your thoughtfulness Jerry!

Cotton Bowl head offices. Those are silver football helmets floating.

Endzone view down to the field.

Same view, but pointing up to the roof. This is the 400-level concourse. There really are NO bad seats in this place. Brent and I decided that we preferred the 300 level seats.

players perspective as they are running from locker-room to field.

Another shot. Check out the guy on the cherry-picker for perspective of how HUGE this place is. This is where they said millionaires (players) would rub shoulders with billionaires (fans that can afford these suites). The players just trot right through the middle of their lounge.

opposite view. Again, players run down this ramp toward me and through the door onto the field. Im standing in the middle of the lounge. That is Jerry Jones' private elevator that goes directly up to his suite.

Players entrance to the field.

First stadium to have field-level suites. This is just to the right of where the players trot onto the field...so this is what they see when they run onto the field.

Price for the field suites starts at $5million. Now, that does include a 20 year lease, but does not include the ticket prices per seat and food/bevs.

One would figure that Jerry would not make Michael "The Playmaker" Irvin wait in line and pay for a tour.

Doesn't Nebraska have field level boxes. Kinda cool for a ****ty-team game so you can just see all the big time players, but I would rather be able to watch the game. Seems like that is basically a sideline pass for people with too much money.

I believe they said the field-level seats were the most expensive suites. There are over 300 suites, so I cant really remember. I think they are popular because they are so close to the field so you can hear everything going on. There are multiple HDTVs in the suites, so I guess if they cant see, they just roll back into the room?

going on our tour tonight. Some "special" event with free food & booze. I'm sure it's just a hard sale for season tickets, but it should be fun.
