What we got from the conference's press days so far...

Sammie: I am so humble and I appreciate you all. This is such a great opportunity. I love the fans. I love my school.

Tim Tivo: Why yes, I am a virgin. I am now going to guilt you all into more media coverage about me, because as you should already know, I am so much better than you. Now, read the bible verse I scribbled under my eyes!

Advantage: SAMMIE!

Well if he can doubt himself to 4,000 yards and 50 TD's again then please do.

I guess it could be called "luck" that timing brought him into a starting spot behind a very, very good line. But his decisions and precision passes are all on him. RARELY is one of his passes in an uncatchable place.

Anyone know the inner workings of which coach pressed for recruiting him?

When do we start placing bets on when Bradford breaks that record because it's goin' down.

I believe it was Chuck Long. The timeline might not fit though.

I also think it was Chuck Long. I may have a proof link shortly...

EDIT: During a summer a few years ago, a certain sports writer was probably looking for a filler story until the offseason started and found said filler story in Putnam City North. Read the "filler story" here. (http://www.tulsaworld.com/sports/article.aspx?subjectid=23&articleid=050630_Sp_B1_Reali4762)

And yes, it was Chuck Long.

It was Mike that left after the 2004 Big XII championship and then Chuck left prior to the Holiday Bowl in 2005. I was confused for a minute and Sam graduated in 2006, so he would have been a recruit of Long's.

To Tebow's credit, he isn't the one who asked the stupid question.

I have to call b.s. Picaso. Tebow didn't have to answer. Or that's a private matter. Seems he's always trying something to stay the focus of attention

I think Timmy's just a home schooled kid who's a bit too honest.

Sam and Gresh are awesome, though!

Well he's certainly not going to say that he's been laying pipe for 3 years in college.
It was the reporter's fault for asking the stupid question to begin with. Call your bull**** all you want.

If you're referring to Mike Stoops, he left at the tail end of the '03 season.

Trivia: Sam Bradford chose #14 because of Josh Heupel. At PCN Sam was #16 in football and #20 in basketball.

Yea, I knew it was right before we played in the national championship. Just wrong year.

You'll laugh when you hear this, but I believe it was Chuck Long.
