Coming from the 12" GI Joe days (Adventure Team and prior) I'm probably not going to like it that much. I did like watching the cartoon when I was in college but was greatly disappointed when they shrunk the figures down to 4 inch format. Oh, and how every last one of them was named something different, so there was no "GI Joe."

One time my sister went looking to buy some for my sons for a birthday and she calls me up and says, "I want to buy Cameron a GI Joe, not somebody that works for him!"

So do I! But what I don't want to see is two things that look like them but are hideously disfigured by the monster that is corporate film making. I grew up with those toys and have many fond memories of them. This movie is an abomination that should not exist.

i knew this movie was gonna fail when i saw the casting. a wayans brother is usually kryptonite for quality. i will give it up for him in requiem though. that movie was dope. i, myself, will save my money for alice in wonderland. and drugs. lots of drugs.

Heh, my buddy lost it during this scene and let out a loud, "Jesus Christ!" Many a chuckle came up in answer from the crowd.

I don't like the young Baroness. She should have been more a cougar-type character. And the kid from "Third Rock from the Sun" is COBRA Commander? Yuck.

Took the kids to this one last night. They liked it. I was pretty tired as I worked all day yesterday so I was a tad overwhelmed with the action. It wasn't as intense as the last transformers but was up in that range of action. Some pretty cool technology mixed with a fair plot. Looks like they built this one up for a sequel.

I give it 3 1/2 stars out of five

I watched it yesterday. The Star Wars prequels had already taught me to let go of that "THEY'RE RAPING MY CHILDHOOD OH NOES" stuff, so I was able to just sit back and enjoy all the explosions and ninjas and foxy girls.

Oh, and Obama is the devil. There, now this thread can stay on the first page.
