Erin Andrews nude video outed by ESPN

Having already defeated fans who would rather watch football than suffer through cutesy idiotic banter by their sportscasters, ESPN is now in phase 2 of Operation Go F Yourself. Now is the time to strike at their own employees, so they took a five-month-old video that no one had ever heard of showing an unidentified naked girl and told the world it was their sideline reporter Erin Andrews. Take that Erin! Page Six says…

No one would have known that a sick voyeur had secretly videotaped ESPN reporter Erin Andrews nude in her hotel room, if the Mickey Mouse sports network hadn’t sent a letter to an obscure Web site demanding that it take down its link to a fuzzy video of an unidentified blonde. The video had gone largely unnoticed since it first went up in February. Last Thursday, NSFWPOA.com, which had linked to the Andrews shots, got a letter from ESPN counsel David Pahl demanding the “pictures of a young, blonde woman” be removed. It didn’t take long for Web sites to identify the blonde as Andrews — and her lawyer soon confirmed it.

If indeed the video is that old and her identity was only accidentally made public, that would strengthen the theory that the video was made by someone traveling with Andrews and working for ESPN. That seems logical since the video appears to show her in two different rooms.

Hold up. This thing went online in February, and it took five whole months to figure out it was Erin Andrews? *rolls up newspaper* Bad, Internet, bad. No.

Previous ESPN "Go F Yourself" operations:

1- Buying out the BCS in order to promote their east coast biased agenda.
2- Joining EA Sports in the college football monopoly game "NCAA Football"
3- Hiring Dick Vitale, a normally all-around nice guy, then never telling him he's talked far too much.
4- Mediocre coverage of NCAA March Madness... the women's version... with limited HD coverage and crappy commentary... to convince us all that women suck at sports.
5- Having a bunch of Big 10 homers host ESPN College Gameday on college campuses during football season.

Go tuck yourself in, ESPN.

While I agree with you about poker not being a sport, it's a past time or game, I'm glad it's somewhere besides the travel channel and gsn. I need it, I have no casinos down here.

Agree I only watch for the games. There's so much biased "information" and pointless "breaking news" on there it's just ridiculous. I'm not at all some conspiracy believer, I just think hiding a story about the Super Bowl winning QB's little snafu, but throwing Bob Stoops under the bus every chance you get is a little odd.
"Investigating where Tim Tebow got his Orlando Magic tickets from" is Urban Meyer's job, and putting that on "the lead" only feeds the trolls who hate on him.
Talking about 0-3 Notre Dame when Oklahoma is playing Tulsa all night long instead of pimping TU's campus and 3-0 program would be a better choice. Save the ND talk for ND games, sportscenter or at least halftime.
Slobbering over amateur athletes and constantly proclaiming someone or something is the "greatest ever" is ridiculous, too. Then going into hiding when said athlete gets caught with his pants down... come on.

i suppose one of these days imma sack up and read the rules of cricket on wiki, but i don't get it. the scores are 189-8 and it's a good match or some guy is going off hitting it sideways and the fans go nuts.

While I was stationed in Japan the ESPN we received on base came out of Hong Kong. They showed a lot of cricket, and by watching I learned, and learned to appreciate it, pretty quickly.

It's big stuff in some countries. I think it was after India had beaten Pakistan in a big match that the fans set the bleachers on fire, and I don't mean just kinda on fire, I mean raging fires.

amazingly a lockout will do that. After this past season, ESPN is trying to wedge back into the picture.

i don't know too much about hockey but when i used to work at the U of Denver i followed some and the Avs etc. but, can't you also argue that the NBA had a lockout and didn't change all the rules for more TV friendly scoring?

though, the 24 sec shot clock is all about the same thing.

Don't cricket matches last for days at a time? Like go home and sleep and come again the next day to finish up?

Well, the NBA lockout didn't lose an entire season that happened to coincide with contract renewal time with the network. Truthfully the only sports league in this country that could easily survive an entire season being lost to a labor dispute with little to no drop off in tv ratings and attendance right now is the NFL.

"Real" cricket is like that. To be more fan friendly though they do sometimes play matches that last only a day.

I forget the terms they use to differentiate which is which.

If I remember correctly a "century" means the batter scored over 100 runs (is runs the right term?) Anyway, some of the really good batters might be up to bat for hours and hours and hours.

With that being said, I can't stand ESPN either. It's ridiculius at this point. I turned it on for three minutes the other day and one of the Mike and the Mike morning guys was waxing poetic at a diner about his favorite sports venue.
