Wow, that line-up is stacked! My Bloody Valentine? That's a name I haven't heard in a long time. Plus Echo and The Bunnymen? Schweet.

What a killer bill. You definitely need to pm some pics.

Yeah, it's too bad about A Yauch's throat cancer.
I was psyched to see Echo, Black Keys, The National, and even Coldplay on the bill.

Yeah it sucks, but at least it sounds like it's going to be a very treatable form of cancer. Would hate to lose one of those guys.

Seriously, WTF?? This is from my confirmation e-mail for my pass.

Note: Everyone needs a ticket to enter the festival. The press pass allows access to the media area after you have entered the main gate.

Photo/Video Information
Please note that photographers and videographers must sign a release form before receiving their photo wristband/video pass. Photographers may shoot the first three songs (no flash) of each set, space permitting. Some artists may have additional restrictions (see below).

TV crews must be escorted by a publicity representative and may shoot general festival b-roll as well as the first 60 seconds of the first two songs of each performance unless notified otherwise.

If you’d like to contact artist publicists to set up interviews or doublecheck their photo or video policies, please let us know and we’ll provide you with a contact list.

On Friday, photographers may shoot the first two songs of Jay-Z’s performance (no flash). News crews may shoot the first 90 seconds of the first two songs.

On Saturday, Tool will not allow any video and will credential limited photographers who must sign the band’s photo release form. We’ve been notified that Tool does not allow wire services/syndicates to shoot and will let you know when we learn which outlets are approved by their publicist.

On Sunday, for Coldplay’s set, photographers may shoot songs 2, 3 and 4.

Wow, that's crazy. Have a friend in the business that does very high profile events and he doesn't pay for entry to any of them.
