View Full Version : What to do? Kitty help.

My yard seems to be the neighborhood kitty playground/litter box. I have mulch in the front of my house and this seems to be their favorite place to defecate. We got rid of our dogs last year (not that they would hurt a cat anyway), and now it seems the cats run rampart in our front and back yard. I have seen about 5 different cats in my yard at all hours of the day. Monday night my wife parked her car outside the garage for some reason, and when I came home that night there were 4 cats under her car and I hadn't seen any of them before. What do I put out to repel cats? (NO! I am not getting another dog ole vet! :D )

6. Try sprinkling "stinky" substances around the problem area, including:

* dried-blood fertilizer
* mothballs (drop them into a can or jar, cover, and make a few holes in the cover).
* cayenne pepper flakes (but see below)

I do have a Daisy Red Rider BB Gun, but the hose or panther **** takes the cake and is the most humane.

I used to have a red ant problem, so I first put a black cat in the ant hole and that was a huge mistake. Cheto and water hose worked much better- we were definitely at war after several unprovoked bites.
