Tulsa and OU should be doing something cool to honor him, like naming something or a statue.

The USHR honoring Wayman Tisdale and not honoring Micheal Jackson gives me some hope that decency still exists in this world.

I said it once, and I will repeat it again and again until it happens:

OU. Olympic. Gold. Medal. PARK!

Wayman is a gold medalist. Gold medalists are highly inspiring and not to mention represent the best athletes in the entire world. It's one thing to win a championship, but another thing entire to earn a gold medal.

OU has more gold medalists besides Wayman. They all deserved to be honored... but Wayman first :D

Wayman Tisdal Court sure has a nice ring to it.

As does Tisdal Ave.

I think Lindsy Ave. would make a nice Tisdal Ave.

I have no doubts the University will do him and his family proud by the time the next basketball season rolls around.

And speaking of Tisdale, I spent a large part of the day in the city in which Wayman grew up and enjoyed a nice lunch at Famous Dave's across from Woodland Hills Mall.

And in Jenks, too, when we visited the OK Aquarium, which my little one enjoyed.

A little OT, I know, but I wanted to let our Tulsa peeps know how much we enjoyed our visit today.

No, I think Nwcastl should name a street after him.

The guy was truly blessed with many talents.

He deserves everything and more IMO.
