Anyone know how this is going to effect his commitment? I know he transfered from a military school up east and has a unique living arrangement.

This is just a guess, but I think it won't.

Option A- He leaves OU. Why would he do this? He isn't going to get any more scholarship offers for not playing his senior season. It's more likely he'll have less offers. So if OU doesn't pull their offer, that is still his best offer.

Option B- OU pulls scholarship. I don't think this happens either. When OU offered Lake, it wasn't for what he did on the field, or what he would do his senior season. Lake had 400-some yards last year playing for Jenks. Jenks played 14 (although I think Lake might have only played in 9), so that really isn't that impressive. It isn't just awful, but there are a ton of other players not even being looked at that were much more impressive statistically. They were impressed with what they saw from him in person at their camp or whatever.

I'm not going to say it won't happen, but I don't see a reason to expect it would happen.

It isn't going to affect it at all and he will play at Holland Hall for his senior season.

For some reason I don't believe this was an oversight when he had 3 different reasons to be ineligible.
