Well I was ashamed to type out the full name at first........its the canadian football league...... Not the 30 min show on espn. Still cool? Who makes a field 110 yards long? Overcompensating for something eh hosier!!??

I haven't watched the CFL in 15-20 years. Tell me this: Is it more similat to the NFL or college ball these days? I went through a phase where I enjoyed it due to the more college attitute of the players They pretty much all wanted to get to the NFL so some of the passion was there along with the less predictable nature of the game...kinda like college ball.

I would rather watch Arena league, CFL, or the multiple attemprts at farm league football in Europe than the high dollar prima donnas in the NFL. I'm just really proud that Sooner players in the NFL sem to have a bit more class and don't sit out 6 weks with a papercut, but those other guys in the NFL are honestly just pansies with paychecks.

I rambled, but my question remains...is modern day CFL more like the college game or the "I already have a bunch of money so I don't give a ****" league?

Either that or catch a game! lol

But to clarify what I was asking...I know that the hunger, enthusiasm, and love of the game is what makes colleg players more exciting for me to watch. Since the Canadian league is a stepping stone for so many college players that don't make a pro roster I would like to know if that same enthusiasm and hunger is there or not.

Well its kinda of like watching an all star game for div 2. Mixed in with some really big highschoolers. No fluties in the league for sure! Since I've dominated ncaa football on wii been looking for a replacement!

Well, I would watch it if I could, it would be better than all the idiotic reality shows they try to cram down our throats.

Hell, I got excited about WNBA... but only during the few minutes that Courtney Paris played. The rest was just watching grass grow like usual

CP3 goes in, everyone on the opposing team and the teammates that don't pass her the ball are all "b!tches!!!!!!!"

CP3 goes out, I nearly fall asleep.

I actually like the CFL. Where else in football can you lead a game 1-0? I almost got to go to a game in Edmonton, but nights in October can be damn cold up there.

Some past Big XII games are shown out here, but not much about OU, unless it is bad news.

Fox is playing the 2008 USC vs Washington St game almost every week out here. USC 69 Washington St 0.

I think the Oregon St game would be more interesting.

That's rather pathetic... here's another one they should show:

This almost justifies my move out here to Palo Alto. Too bad the Stanford/USC game is away this season.

It's TdF (Tour de France) time. I can't wait to get home from work to fire up TIVO to watch. On the weekend, I'll don my cycling gear after watching those guys race up giant mountains only to have some local 3 mile hill totally kick my azz. But hey, it sucks up 3 weeks in July waiting for CFB to start :)
