God Bless you Corey.
I take a lot of inspiration from Wayman. When he had his leg amputated he said that as he awoke in the post-surgery recovery room he thought, "I'm still me", and broke into that big smile. That is the important thing. Despite what hardships might be our present circumstances, if we can remember that, "I'm still me", we can focus on who we really are.

Corey Wilson is a warrior. I expect to see him continue to get all out of his life that he possibly can. He is still Corey Wilson. My prayer on his behalf is that God allow him to continue to be Corey.

For those that don't remember what happened, Corey was involved in a rollover accident back in February. (http://www.tulsaworld.com/sports/article.aspx?subjectid=92&articleid=20090330_92_B3_Former449017&archive=yes)

The link also tells Travis' side and how desperate he is to make the Cowboys roster so he can help Corey out.

I still hate the Cowboys, but I'll hate them a lot less if they keep Travis.

(oh, and five stars, but of course)

I hope he gets well enough to enroll in school real soon, uses that scholarship to get a degree, and goes on to lead a productive life.

This news made my day much better.

Really puts in perspective the things we whine about and how insignificant they are.

He will do it no doubt. Athletes are special people, and their desire to accomplish such goals that many say are impossible only makes them dig down and work that much harder to obtain those goals. He will make strides and I will keep him in my prayers.

I wonder if we'll see any helmet stickers or anything like that this season?

Corey kinda lost his number to Jameel Owens, but it'd be neat to see a #13 sticker or something like that.

I'm sure he will get a couple claps in Dallas this year.
