I admit, he was a very talented guy.

Hugely talented in fact.

But he was also kinkier and stranger than the combined cast of characters of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. In comparison, MJ made Howard Hughes seem like just a normal guy who had a few quirks. MJ also had a very unhealthy affinity for little boys.

So, how long is the media-driven love-fest going to continue?

I agree his talent is remarkable, But the way i see, little boys all over the world are safer now.
And the love fest will continue until we all about puke..

The immortalizing and canonizing of some of these folks is laughable. I'm all for respect for the dead, but the media has jumped on this like a starving Pitt Bull on a nest of Barbecue Basted Bunnies. It's all about the ratings, and it's easy money for the whole lot of 'em.
I honestly couldn't tell you much more beyond this when it comes to real news outside of Oklahoma beyond Friday because the front page on all the websites has his creepy face on there.

Dang it! Even BBC news fell into the trap. :(

I think you need to read up on Howard Hughes.
