While I was thinking they would take Rubio, I also thought he was risky.
I'll be shocked if the Kings don't take him.

Sounds like they fell in love with Evans. Might be just a lie they let people believe so that Rubio would fall.

I would have thought that the Thunder would trade down and pick up Harden. I guess they didn't want the hassle.

The Thunder got by far the best public speaker thus far.

6/25/2009, 06:58 PM
Wow, the Kings take Tyreke Evans.
I guess people are getting cold feet about Rubio.

JLEW1818
6/25/2009, 07:11 PM

sooner59
6/25/2009, 07:12 PM
Am I retarded or did the T-Wolves just f*** themselves by picking 2 PGs?
Eielson

They just traded FOR him.

That would make more sense than keeping both. Personally I would keep Flynn and trade Rubio for an established 3-5 year vet.
JLEW1818
6/25/2009, 07:16 PM

If it allows us to resign Odom and Ariza then it was worth it, but I still wish we had a first round pick.

u think Taylor will get drafted
?
If I were the Clippers I would go ahead and pick him up with one of their last picks if he is still out there. I think it would make a lot of difference in the way Blake plays for them. I also think given what the Clippers have right now, Taylor might be able to make a big contribution.

has Blair gone yet?
GrapevineSooner
6/25/2009, 09:17 PM
I dunno.
But I do know Donnie Nelson is the worst GM in Dallas.
It amazes me how the Mavs seem to not care about the label that they're a soft team. Because every year, they draft skinny white guys, guys that can shoot but have no inside game, or Euro projects.
This year, Donnie managed to draft a skinny white guy and trade him for a Euro project.
Outstanding.
How this assclown has managed to hold onto his job is something I'll never figure out.
Eielson
6/25/2009, 09:17 PM

I don't think so.
GRR, Toney Douglas was the other guy I would want, but we traded him for 3M.

The Spurs lineup is gonna be good. Adding in Jefferson and DeJuan Blair makes them pretty dangerous.
SAS, you can still suck it. :D

They'll definitely be back challenging the Lakers again next year for tops in the West, if they stay healthy.

I've got two questions.
1) Who was in charge of the Timberwolves draft?
2) Can anybody make sense of it?

eh i dunno about that. sure he won't make an impact this year or next, but i still think the dude is a super talent. probably for the best that he matures a few years in spain. he will be a beast in time
