We are staying at the Baymont inn in Arlington which is around 8 miles from the stadium...we got a really good deal at www.booking.com

We do The West End and Deep Ellum for OU/tx so not wanting to stay there for this game

The game won't be over until 10 or so. My advice would be downtown Fort Worth. You can be there in 20 minutes and there are hundreds of things to do see and eat until 2 AM and its safe. When you get up in the A.M. there are lots of really good brunch places around. North Arlington is dead at 10 PM. Dallas is too far and scattered and well not so safe. Can you tell I live in Fort Worth. Just my two cents.

West End is almost 30 miles from the new stadium. Grapevine is a nice area, probably 15-20 minute drive to the stadium. Or there is a new motel at I-20 & Great Southwet Parkway in Grand Prairie, straight shot up 360 from I-20, pronanly 15 minutes at most. Don't stay anywhere real close to the stadium, it's changing, but still not a very nice place.

I booked my rooms today at the team hotel. $99 per night. Not too shabby.

The OU Club of Dallas has rooms reserved at the Hilton Lincon Center, 635 @ Tollway, Dallas. They also have a shuttle running from hotel to Jerry's World. you do not have to stay at hotel to use the shuttle, two bits per head for the shuttle, great way, to and from game. Beats fighting traffic and paying, what is it $42.00 to park at stadium. go to OU Club of Dallas, lot of hotels in the area, great places on Midway to Beltline, and east and west on Beltline.
Couple of budget hotels off Midway, just south of Spring Valley, on Parkside Center Blvd (runs W. off Midway) Studio Plus and Fairfirld Inn. Very safe area.

That is a nice place, right in the middle of downtown. Yeah, the new stadium is a lot closer to Ft. Worth, which I like a lot better than Dallas actually. Way more laid back

Humperdinks is ok, but there are better options over there including The Flying Saucer (old style pub with draft beer from all over world) & Sherlocks, (place for live music & heavy consumption of beer/shots). If you're into country music/dancin, Cowboys Arlington is one of best in North Texas.
