Bomar the Bearkat... not quite a Bear, not quite a Kat, but definitely not a Sooner.

Not trying to sound mean, bitter, etc., but OU no longer claims him, he no longer claims OU, so I won't try to either.

Why is Bomar still being linked to us? We have to hear about every iota of his life? He was drafted, so most certainly he would be signed, right? There are literally hundreds of players transferring from school to school, so can we lay Bomar to rest? R.I.P. Rhett; you have been dead since Aug 2, 2006, and you deserve no eulogy, flowers, and the cliche that you were a good person.

Cus many of us are still interested in him and want him to succeed. He screwed up, has expressed remorse several times, admitted he was a selfish kid, why not root for him.

Hell, without Rhett we have no Sammy B. til this year atleast

he made a bad decision, and his life probably changed because of it. good luck to him.

just imagine how Bomar must feel........ this past sooners team (2008) could have been his team.........

but who knows.... he may not have been any good by this time.

Ding ding ding - winnah! For every action there's a reaction. Bomar performed well given it was a rebuilding year and then stepped aside (not purposely) for PT and then Sam. Hope he gets a fair shake in the NFL.

I don't hate him and i never did, i hated what he did and that he tarnished the schools name.

Life is to short to be hating on him, i got better things to do.
