The second-to-last game of indoor soccer I ever played, I scored twice. The first was on a sweet cross that I knocked in with my left foot. This was special to me because I'm right footed and had missed on the same shot previously because I tried it with the right foot. The second was after I plucked a dangerous cross pass between defenders out of the air by a toe. I was one-on-one with the keeper after that, and beat him easily. As a career defender, I tend to grip a little when I get a chance to score a goal, so I was proud that I kept my wits about me there. I had a couple of chances to complete the hat trick that night, but my teammates wouldn't give up the rock.
