All three of 'em have tried really, really hard to make this night all about LSU. Too bad the Big 12 showed up to make it interesting. Although I had to laugh to think that even in a College World Series Championship that the Horns were thinking of the Sooners with their "Texas Fight, OU Sucks" cheer!:pop:

If this were a super regional I would probably pull for Texas, but I don't see how I could cheer for them to get a championship.

I'll never be able to root for tejas on anything, for any occasion. Granted, if I had to live around LSU fans, then it might be different...

I got a kick out of that first batter for Texas. Gets caught looking at a fastball right down the middle. Stares down ump and says something to him. As he walks to the camera he yells "that's f***ing bull****!"

And of course the ump gets his revenge and strikes out the next batter on an outside pitch.

In one of the Longhorn meeting rooms, there is a wall which denotes all of their football championships, including conference and national champ years. A couple of months ago, it was discovered that on this wall, they actually included last year (2008) as one of their conference championships (despite the indisputable fact that OU won the Big 12 last year), only they put up an asterisk next to it. Hilarity ensued.
