I've watched Kendal play in middle school and last year with Southmoore, and I think he an "OK" player. I would like to see more leadership in him it seems like he wasn't really "gettin after it" when I watched him play like walking to sideline and taking time to get back to huddle. He's got 2 more years to improve and hopefully put on some mass.

sure the coaches notice kids early and get them in camp and establish a relationship with them but it's beyond bizarre for grown men on the internets to get a woody over a 15 year old kid.

Kendal Thompson got off at OU's Football Camp - they were extremely impressed and the kid is going to get an offer. Much more of a pure passer than his old man - but he can also run.

KENDAL THOMPSON ANNOUNCED FOR NEXT UNDER ARMOUR GAME
Southmoore quarterback Kendal Thompson, who orally committed to OU in November, is expected to play in next year’s Under Armour All-America game, ESPN announced during its telecast of this year’s game.
Thompson, a high school junior, threw for almost 2,800 yards and 29 TDs while leading the SaberCats to the Class 6A state semifinals. He was a second-team selection on The Oklahoman’s All-State team. Thompson is the son of former Sooner quarterback Charles Thompson.

It will make two years in a row OU will have a commitment in the Under Armour game. Wichita, Kan., quarterback Blake Bell, who will be at OU next season, played for the White in Saturday’s game. Current OU quarterback Landry Jones also participated in the Under Armour game two years ago.
