Yes. I have heard a LOT of homosexuals complain about that. And I can see where they're coming from.

Of course, for the sake of full disclosure, I've heard a lot of homosexuals complain about just about everything. :D

You know I used to ask people who said Goddamn if they really wanted to God to damn.

Then New Yorkers would swear on Jesus name and I'd ask them if they were Christian and most times they'd say they're jewish and I'd ask them why they're wasting their swear word.

I've learned my lesson and the whole ghey thing is not worth my time.

This is what happens when you take a word that is meant as a synonym for "happy" and try to force it down people's throat, making it seem like everyone that is Homosexual is "happy." Homosexuals have effectively ruined (negated if you will) the word gay. If you just go back a bit in the history of the Homosexual, you will find evidence of a concerted effort to make GAY mean homosexual, because they want to be perceived as "happy." Sad really, but quite predictable that it would backfire and become a pejorative phrase instead of what Homosexuals wanted it to be.

Meh. It's normal. Normal cycle for words and prejudice. African-americans used to be black used to be colored.

Is "colored" in and of itself all that offensive? not really. Just a cycle of a word being acceptable for a while, then after a while it collects lots of connotations, then is considered rude or vulgar.

Bitch, fag have actual meanings besides the Americanized vulgarity of them. If Jewish people decided they didn't lik ebeing called "Jews" for whatever reason, give it 35 years and we'd all be referring to them as semites or something.
