Hey guys. Don't post much on here but read a heck of a lot. haha

Anyways I was just browsing through ESPN Recruiting and noticed on our page that Corey Nelson (OLB) out of Skyline HS, TX just listed us in his top 3 with Texas A&M and Stanford.

Here's the news thing:

"ESPNU 150 Watch List outside linebacker Corey Nelson would like to make official visits to Texas A&M, Stanford and Oklahoma, affiliate Web site InsideTexas.com reports.

The Aggies, Cardinal and Sooners are in the lead for Nelson's signature, who hasn't necessarily eliminated all other schools yet."

I'm taking that to be his top 3.

Here's the Rivals profile: http://oklahoma.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=76952&sport=1

Sorry if this has already been posted. Didn't see it anywhere.

I think he is going to choose A&M.

I hope I am wrong though.

STUPID why did he commit there?

Could it be hope? Maybe hope that it will be a contender in the near future? aTm, much as we jest, has all the workings to become a contender (history of success, talent base, fan base, recruiting potential). God knows how many contenders there can be in one division of one conference, but aTm could be one of them with the right breaks.

Rivals has him as a soft commit to A&M but he has taken visits to LSU, Minnesota and Tennessee.

I came into this thread thinking that he committed to us or something, than realized that this was an old thread.

Given the fact that we are actively recruiting at least 4 players and we already have 29 commits, how many schollies can we give out this year? I know 2 of the commits are enrolled early which counts against last years total and that we have 4 early departures, but I would think it would be 31 max.

He'll be here with Jackson Jeffcoat, you gotta like the chances of both of them getting together and having fun at OU and both committing here.

Great 2 big OLINE guys - Tyler Evans got a lot of PT this year as a true frosh - with all the injuries we had at Center this year, having woods in there at 3bills would be nice backup.
