So I get an email back on May 8th stating

Thank you for your continued support of OU Athletics and our Sooner student athletes. As our new season approaches we wanted to notify you on the status of your BYU request. Information regarding this event can be viewed online by following the below instructions:

View Your BYU Game Order Confirmation Online:

1. Click here and log into your account on SoonerSports.com
2. After signing-in click the “My Account” link
3. Click the link “View My Order History”
4. Now view you BYU order information
We are extremely excited to be able to fulfill your order. Due to an overwhelmingly high demand and limited availability, many orders could not be filled at the requested price levels. If we were unable to fill your original seat request, we allocated you in the next best available price level. All seating within each price level will be allocated based upon priority points within giving levels.

I went and looked when this came over and it looked like I got the $80 tickets. But now there is no link telling me anything?

So whats up with that, anybody checked theirs lately?

Aren't the $80 tickets the third tier? Wasn't there a tier over $100.00 per ticket for seats between the goal lines? Prices are steep, going for $50, $80, $100 and $150 (club seats) plus extra fees, if what I previously read is correct.

The $80 ones are lower endzones and upper sides. The $50 are upper ez's and corners. The $150 clubs are the first two level sidelines and the $100 clubs are the 300 level sides. I put in for $100 tickets and got $80 ones. I paid with my c.c. and it was on my last statement so I know I'll get some. Personally I'd rather be on the lower end than the upper side though.

lower is always good no matter where you are... JMO ... even if your on the negative 10 yard line (aka end zone side)

Provo » BYU's already thin defensive line took another hit Thursday afternoon with the announcement from coach Bronco Mendenhall that defensive end Bernard Afutiti is academically ineligible to compete in the 2009 season.

He is the third defensive lineman who will not be with the team this fall. Previously, Russell Tialavea and Ian Dulan announced they are going on church missions.

Does anyone know what the deal is going be with the BYU student tickets? I have no idea if these will be part of the season package or separate or anything. OU seems to be keeping students in suspense for the Jerry World Opener.

according to the Dallas Morning News, OU has sold out its allotment of 34,500 tickets & BYU has sold out their 10,000. Any remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public sometime soon, but no date given.

yep... NO chance the stadium is 100% full, come game time......

If you've waited this long for tickets, I'd wait it out and buy on gameday.... or if you can get ticket value from cowboys .. maybe.

they were predicting it to be sold out, but it's just a prediction. If cheap seats can be had for $40 or so, I would imagine they pack the place with plenty of folks that just want to see the stadium & a ball game is just bonus.:)

i think student tickets go on sale in august when the road game student tickets do. Its close to the first day of class. You pay the road game price and you gan group your seats like you can for texas...

This sounds like a legit solution, much props.

I would assume that's what they're doing. They'll probably be expensive as ****. I just think this is setting a bad precedent for OU-Texas because as pricey as tickets for that are now, imagine what they'll be like in Jerry World post-2015 or whatever  . Again, no need to mess with tradition.
