I really liked it when it came out but I was like 10 I think. My tastes have changed quite a bit since then and I prefer a different type of movie. 1 is really good.

you guys are letting your automatic cold war thing get in the way of the obvious.

3 and 4 are really close to me. I give 4 the edge partly because the cold war theme was good for the 80s when they both came out.

does 4 have "Eye of the Tiger"?

probably only second to "We Will Rock You" in hamhead pro sports royalties.

i remember the survivor video on MTV before (maybe) "eye", called "caught in the game". they were sort of a Saga wannabe band, to my recollect.

Don't forget Burning Heart from Rocky IV.

Is it East versus West or man against man?
Can any nation stand alone!

During dis fight, I's seen a lot of changin, in the way youz feel about me, and in the ways I feel about youz. In here, there were two guys killing each other, but I guess that's better than twenty million. I guess what I'm trying to say, is that if I's can change, and youz can change, everybodyz can change!

yes because I'm sure only 80's Republicans had concerns about communist Russia. Are you saying the Democrats in the 80's were stupid?

In retrospect, Rocky IV is pretty funny because it came so close to the end of the Cold War. Had that thing been in production just a couple of years later, it could have been ruined before it even hit the theaters.

IMO, I through III are all outstanding, and IV was very solid. I'm not as big a hater on V as most. No, it was not as good, and it sucked to not see Rocky in the ring. But I thought that the promising young protege turned nemesis was okay (better than Anakin in the Star Wars prequels--I actually wanted to pull for Tommy Gunn even though I knew what was going to happen) and the conflict within his family was pretty okay.

Amazingly, I have yet to see VI. It's never come on any of the movie channels that I have. It's always on Showtime or Cinemax.

4, 1, 2, 6, 3, 5

I just never could get down with 3 even though it has survivor and Thunderlips. Fights were too short and Mick died.

I just saw 6 recently on a non-movie channel. I believe it was FX.

the first one...by far. Just like Stallone's other series. The rest pretty much blow other than isolated scenes.
