If you try to tell me that being parked on your couch for this game is better than my 4 seats in C112, Id have to argue.

have a difficult time putting money in the pockets of a man who has actively tried to lure Bob Stoops away from Oklahoma to the Cowboys. then again I would love to go and hang a sign that reads....

Hey Jerry, this is as close as Bob will get to standing on the Cowboys sideline!!

that's what we are doing too.... no way that big *** stadium sells out.... I'll be surprised if i spend more than 50 bucks a ticket.... the scalpers won't be too hard to get a steal from, an hour before kickoff.

Has anyone ever drank so much before a game, that you didn't make it into the game?

Enjoy your watered down $8 beer, and the 15 minute walk to find one. :D

This will be the first opening game we've missed in decades. We've decided to go to a watch party. Good friends, good food, good drink.

I have seen it happen several times.

Almost to that level was last season when we went to the Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game, There was a guy on our row who was escorted out before kickoff, so he made it in but missed the game. His friends pretty much drug him in and sat him down, he had his head down the whole time, blew chunks, and a few minutes later the police were hauling him out, all in about 15 minutes from the time he sat down to the escort. The stadium people cleaned up the mess before kickoff.

Actually, that did happened to me in 1993 in Norman at the A&M game.

I'm gonna go. There is not shat around that stadium. It will be nothing like walking around campus corner before home games. I'll have to crash someones tailgate party. Boomer!

That would have happened to me before every game in the 90's had I not been a teenager.

How did you find out where your seats are? They're seats to our opening season "home" game. Why would it not make sense that they can be traced back to a Cowboy fan, especially if they're good seats? Maybe the crappy seats haven't been sent out yet?

A/C, good beer, nachos, comfy seat, and I get to sleep in my own bed vs. traveling.. I think that wins.

Parking in your own garage costs nothing, whereas my parking spot will cost $38. So my spot must be $38 better. :texan:

Free food, free beer, and getting to watch the game from a better view, so I'll be staying home.

on the other side of the Ballpark, you can park at a couple different business complexes for $9. Not sure if that will change on gameday though.

Good way to think of it... Maybe I should charge myself $40 to park in my garage on game day to get the same "environmental" feel?? I could have a hell of a party at the end of the season...;)
