Wanting to do my part to stimulate the economy and all that, I think I might need to buy a couple of these. I called Cabela's earlier and they have em in stock. Curly Bill does need a nice six-shooter or two don't ya think? :D

...and after all, it is for the good for the economy. ;)

The title of the thread made me think that you had instead gone out and made a very large purchase of low-quality pr0n.

Now that I think about it...thats probably not a bad way to stimulate the economy.....in more ways than one.

These would be for playin.

I have my semi-auto self defense pistols already.

...but yeah, I'd never recommend a single action for anything other than playing with or hunting with.

ok, stimulate away :)

i keep thinking i want a lever-action rifle. like a Marlin 1894 that would eat the same stuff as a revolver, or just a .30-30

That would be cool. They make a lot of lever-actions these days in revolver calibers, many of them are replicas of the old west guns.

Of course most early lever-action rifles were chambered for revolver cartridges negating the need for two different types of ammo. When they finally came out with the 30-30 it was a super hot round. These days it's fairly pedestrian.
