Not true. The outtakes at the end of Grumpy Old Men takes that title.

I will give you that those outtakes, especially with the old dad were hilarious, but you need to see this, for pure shock value it is the best ending ever!

saw it this afternoon. eh, so-so. kinda dragged in places but no doubt the ending was quite quite hilarious. who was the guy who played the groom? not a good actor.

XingTheRubicon
6/10/2009, 09:07 PM
the groom was the sidekick in the National Treasure movies with nic cage i THink.

as far as the funniest movie in a while talk goes, i thought it was sort of forced humor at times. My wife actually had tears in her eyes from laughing so hard at the end. I didn't think it was that great, but I also didn't think Tropic Thunder was either so what do I know. I think I'm getting old.

Agree. This movie got over hyped, but it happens.

However, drinking Guinness and eating fish & chips while sitting in a nice leather recliner in the theater was the bomb.

some things just aren't funny. acting like the baby was whacking off? not funny. the director hits a few and misses a lot.

TMcGee86
6/13/2009, 06:03 PM
I actually thought that part was funny. Leaving the baby in the car however was most definitely not funny.

some of you take **** too seriously, it is a movie meant to have shock value humor, its not like they did that thinking people would take it seriously

A guy that admits to being court ordered away from schools then later grabbing an infants arm and moving it up and down near the infants genitals, saying "look, he's whacking it!"

Yeah, that's hilarious.

I've heard a lot about it...... I'm going to be pissed if I don't like it.... I'm very picky when it comes to calling a movie "hilarious"

I never take any comedy seriously, but some of the humor just seemed forced. Ed Helms performance is what saved that movie for me. The others.....not so much.

that's how all movies are starting to get..... "forced humor"

you simply can't beat the Dumb and Dumbers and Ace Venture pet detective , and nature calls.. type movies..

It was a good flick that is getting a little more push than it should do to an excellent last 90 seconds.

It is not at the level of a Wedding Crashers or Dumb and Dumber , but it is good enough to see at a theatre.

I laughed like once or twice in Anchorman, and a couple times during Ricky Bobby...... i just don't think Will Ferrell and his humor is that funny.....

The most I've ever laughed at him was during Old School, and Kicking and Screaming...

and he's a usc trojan ..... so i don't really like that either.

I thought it was pretty funny but generally I do find a different kind of humor to my liking.

As for Will Ferrel that idiot shoulda stuck to supporting roles IMO.

Collier11

Will Ferrell is funny but all of his movies are the same. Anchorman, Old School, and Step Brothers were his best IMO

There were a few funny moments, but the comedy just lacked "wit." The humor just fell flat, imo. To each his own, but I like a different kind of humor, like for instance, Kevin Smith. Not all of his movies are over the top funny, but he has a few I really like for the "wit" he puts behind his characters lines/comedy.

Since Todd Phillips directed Old School and Zach Galifinakis writes and does stand up for a living, I guess I thought it would be funnier.

See, I like over the top type humor and kevin smith witty type humor, I guess im just more diverse than you... ;)
