I've got a painting in my "man cave" of the run against Texas in '82.

I'm not sure we've ever had a more talented running back on campus than Dupree. And that is in no way a slap of disrespect at Sims or Peterson, but damn, just look at Dupree! He was a monster.

A REALLY fast monster.

Look at the blue duds Colorado is sporting. They're still pissed at Fairbanks up there for those things.IMHO Peterson was Dupree + character & work ethic.

I think Travis changed his attitude when his little brother nearly died. Corey might still be alive, but he may never walk again and definitely won't play football again.

He might have had an ego, but he was still a Sooner and now that he's no longer in the NFL, that might be all that he has left to look fondly on for his playing career.

You also posted the Buster Rhymes picture. How does thinking a submachine gun is acceptable retaliation in a snowball fight not constitute an "attitude problem?"

Not trying to start a fight, I just disagree. I have plenty of fond Travis Wilson memories, and he was the lone WR bright spot at the beginning of the 2005 season when we had so little depth at that position. He made a pretty nice play in The Game Which We Do Not Speak Of too...on the first drive that resulted in us leading in that game, for how brief a time that was. I usually reserve your Travis Wilson-level of hatred for things like the WNBA and any piece of media written/produced/directed by Tyler Perry.

His daughter played football for Noble, also a kicker. I remember seeing her on the news winning homecoming queen and being crowned in her football uni, then being kissed. Classic. Tony is a good guy, I know him personally.

Ah, I loved this guy! He too saved that 2000 season with an awesome play in Stillwater! How the Horns let this guy go out of Austin, I will never know. Glad he was a Sooner though!
