I don't know if its been on a for a while, but they were showing a mini marathon of it last night....

They showed the fish that swam up the dude's willy wonka in the amazon and it trying to go out his chocolate factory...and another fish that swam into this one guy's body and ate him from the inside out...

and then he was looking for a fish that pulled a couple of people down in a river, and they never found any remains...turns out, the Hindus hold their funerals on the beach, where they burn the bodies and then dump them into the river. I guess the fish got extremely large eating the corpses and now are large enough to take on a human body...

here is a pic of the "Goonch" catfish he caught..this one was 6 ft long and weighed in around 162...He said this one wasn't big enough to do the trick, but there were some around 9 ft and 250 lbs.

I don't remember what the name of the fish was, but the one with the teeth that are about 2-3 inches long....freaked me out a bit


and the basic them I captured was don't go to the Amazon

Ya if you dont know what you are doing dont **** around in the Amazon. I think the 2 inch teeth thing was an Arawana. The catfish that swims up your pee hole is a Candiru. That is why you dont pee when you are in the water in the Amazon. All I know is that catfish in general are pretty bad *** fish.

The piranha episode was on and the catfish made the piranhas look like wusses

yeah that was it....I thought it was funny that they asked that dude if he wanted to hold it and the facial expression he gave was the universal "what the **** are thinking asking me that" look

Good Show.I caught most of last nights marathon,a few I had seen before.The Fish with the Long Teeth is about the scariest one I've ever seen come out of Fresh Water.Definately some Big ,Bad Arse Catfish out there.

Watch it when its on, really interesting. Other than Lost or the Office, I spend most of my non-sports tv watching at Animal Planet or Discover Channel

Arowana are also the ones that can jump way out of the water. They can sometimes get out about 6 ft. And they get to about 3-4ft long. The crazy thing is they are in the pet trade... Piranhas are pussies. Most of them just eat scales and fins from other fish in the natural environment Ii.e., without having fish guts or blood dumped in all the time).

The really big fish out there though are the Arapaima They get to be about 2.5m or more

when he jumped out of his boat into a bunch of piranhas, my wife was screaming he's crazy....they just swam around him....

But he was a lot more careful gettin with in with the Goonch's.....

Exactly. Piranha aint gonna do **** unless they have been trained like in the fish gut scenarios or if there is a lot of blood in the water. Hell I had never heard of a Goonch until that show, but all I know is dont **** with a hungry catfish with big *** teeth. **** dont **** with big fish period.
