following Chrysler's lead.

Leaving Ford alone among domestic automakers somewhat in control of its own destiny.

Sure am glad we spent billions of dollars to keep them alive for six months. That was so worth it.

I took my Jeep in for some warranty work last week. It was kinda wierd knowing that I, as a taxpayer, helped cover the cost of the repair. It was also wierd to realize that my warranty, a contract between Chrysler and me, was technically stayed as a result of Chrysler's bankruptcy filing, yet my dealer took care of it on the strength of the gubmint's promise to back said warranty.

these are strange days friends.

Once bkry is filed srew the dealers who have been terminated...they will have no remedies except unsecured claims in bkry...worthless...

Obama's gonna give us free cars! Seeing as to how we've already bought them.

Sadly doesn't affect me and my Toyota. However, if I had my last car it still wouldn't affect me, I was smart and had a Mustang ;)

Two historical events come immediately to mind that I have seen in my life that I thought I'd never see:
The fall of the Berlin Wall (good)
GM in bankruptcy (?)

It's just a dad-gum shame we taxpayers are paying for the errors of free market bunglers.

Just one more reason to buy a Ford. At least they took the lead here and restructured several years ago to avoid this.

From what i heard, wasn't Toyota asking for a bailout from their gubment?

There's never a good reason to buy a Ford.

not all of us can afford a 1967 VW bus, hippie painter.

I laugh at your bankrupt car company that thought they could compete with Henry. You had a nice run, but in the end you are just like texas....a few people think you are the 2nd coming, but most people understand the real history and know you're a poser.

I humbly submit to you the single greatest production car ever built:

As long as you don't need to turn, I might agree.
