Multi zone recievers

Looking to have speakers outside by the pool, as well in the living room and possibly one other room all playing the same music, with the ability to play in one or all zones.

What's the best way to do this? Anyone have a recommendation on a zone reciever? Will I need an amp to push it to that many locations?
