Homey's Thread about the loss of his friend brought up an interesting point IMO about preservation.

I know many folks (My Step-Brother included...he's way into Civil War Re-enactments in PA) who are involved in Civil War History and preservation. I get why they do it but here's a question to discuss if you'd like.

What the difference between a group of people who stop a Land Developer from turning an area of Land into a Residential or Commercial Property and being stopped by a Civil War Group vs a Whackjob Liberal Enviromental Group who's trying to save the last nesting site of the Blue Crested Heart Thumper Swallow? :pop:
