Ricky Grace was the point guard on that '88 team.

This is nitpicky, but since it's for a permanent record and all...

"Stacey King" or "Stacie King?"

I don't hear that name w/o remembering what happened when he was at Midland. The Chaps made it up here for nationals, & in fact, were in the title game vs. The College of Southern Idaho, whose coach was a guy named Fred Trenkle. Midland had a player get injured in the semis & missed the title game, & when asked if that player would've made a difference in the outcome, Trenkle replied that one player wouldn't have made a difference. CSI won that game by all of one point. The injured Midland player? A guy named Mookie Blaylock.

Whatever you say Fred.

I remember Mookie clearly being the PG for this team. Yes Grace ran the Point at times, but it was Mookie that ran this team.

Mookie running it, Grace playing defense and slashing to the bucket. Sieger reigning threes, Harvey and King creating havoc down low. Fun to watch.

Ricky had 280 assists that year while Mookie had 203. That's only 38 less than the 2009 team had as a team for the entire season! THE WHOLE SEASON, JERRY!

Dave "Soul Man" Sieger had 138 of his own.

You think that team might've been able to score some points? Sheesh.

Oh, and it's Stacey King, badger.
