Excellent read.I am constantly amazed at the number of Sooner fans who do not view Owen as vitally important to OU sports.His AD contributions alone made him citical to OUr sports history.He also coached baseball at OU.

Many people say well he only won a few conference titles,and ONLY 65 % of his games.They seem to skip over also coaching basketball to 100 + wins,coaching baseball to 100+ wins,being athletic director AND raising funds to build Memorial Stadium.

Anyone here that doesn't respect and honor the entire history of the school and doesn't realize how importand these legends are doesn't need to be here if they aren't willing to learn the history.
