those are pretty close to leading with the helmet calls...

Yeah, he is a headhunter, but if a ref called that for 15, I would be upset. This is football people. That is what he is doing, playing football. Its a bang, bang play, nothing more. There is no intent on illegal contact. I think if he keeps this instinct, he could be a special player.

Pretty solid hit I thought. Hope he can do it a lot next year. That is something we've been missing back there for a while. Granted the game has evolved to where they protect the WR more now, but still it doesn't seem like we've had a Safety with that killer instinct back there since Everage. Just hope he can tackle more consistently than him. Everage would either destroy you or miss you by a mile, but he was definitely a head hunter.

In the spring game, Tom Wort showed the headhunter kind of play of which you speak. It will be interesting to see how he works at linebacker.

Carter changed the game with that hit. Maclin was skeert afterwards, and had the dropsies. :D

That's what I was getting at, I think Carter has the SWAGGER that we need!! I hope it has a trickle down effect!! Tom Wart will be a stud, maybe on Special Teams this year.

I think he's another with the SWAGGER along with McCoy and Gresham on the offense!!! (Thinks about Gresham blocking the Huskies from coming out on to the Field!!!:D :D ) DAMN I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!
