I went to the NRA nat. convention here in PHX at the Convention Center, downtown. I did meet La Pierre. He looks older in person than I expected. I had to join the NRA to get in, but that gets me legal counsel in case I have to blow up a home invader.
I also saw Ted Nugent being interviewed. It was a radio show, as i understood it, and simultaneous video on the internet. They expected to tally over 60,000 people in attendance over the 3 days of the show. Every arms mfg., bullets, knives, clothing , accessories of all kinds, antique guns, local and national weapons dealers, and more. I stayed about 3 hrs, and walked the whole exhibit area.
